Sheila creates a welcoming environment where we have fun despite being pushed to improve. I have trained with Sheila for 5 years through a number of marathon build ups. The gym sessions have been challenging and varied and the resulting strength and fitness gains have kept my body in one piece and injury free. Sheila does a great job of adjusting the planned workout up or down depending on my level of fatigue.

I did a Chi Running workshop with Sheila recently, I thought it was interesting and gave great pointers to take away and incorporate into my running. It was a good reminder to break down running make it simple, and allow the body to reset posture and rhythm, taking away effort and just allowing the body to run relaxed. I continue to practice and to use the visualizations & resets in my training runs – in my opinion the Chi Running workshop would benefit all runners regardless of levels – our course included some returning from injury, some beginners and experienced ultra-runners, all levels were catered for in a relaxed informative & inclusive environment – I would highly recommend.

Sheila has been an excellent coach, masseuse, friend and training partner. I've really enjoyed the small group work that we've done in IST classes, and the Chi running course was a great day of technique specific training. On that day I was injured, and despite that Sheila still delivered a great course specific for me, and all the non-injured runners. We varied from a sub-3 marathon runner (Ironwoman) and someone returning to running after a break. Delivering to a varied group like that was difficult, but Sheila made everyone feel involved, and make progress.
